Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro international Airport or Namanga Border:
You’ll be met by our ground handling team at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to the hotel in Arusha, after check in, we will sit on round table have a briefing about the trip ahead you, answer your questions and let you get to relax at pool.
Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park:
Tarangire National Park is one of the hidden jewels of Tanzania. This park measures 2,600 sq kms and boasts a concentration of wildlife second only to Ngorongoro Crater. It features an impressive amount and array of bird life and plant life.
In the morning, our guide will meet you at the hotel lobby, and then you will start your safari with a drive to the Tarangire National Park. The park is roughly the size of Luxemburg and covers an area of about 2,600 km². Bush Savannah, seasonal swamps and giant baobab trees make up the landscape of this nature reserve and the park is probably one of the best places in East Africa to see elephants. Not only are there thousands, but they are also relatively accustomed to vehicles so you will be able to get really close to them. Apart from elephants, the park is also home to Masai giraffes, various gazelles, antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons and more than 500 types of birds. After an extensive game drive you will leave the park in the afternoon and drive to the cozy accommodation for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park:
Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views.
After breakfast you will travel from the Tarangire Area to the Lake Manyara National Park.The park is known for its over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests and grassy plains. A large area of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara, the seasonal breeding grounds for large colonies of flamingos and many more waterfowls. The park is also home to giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, impalas and groups of noisy monkeys and baboons. After an extensive game drive you will travel to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3:Lake Manyara National Park - Serengeti National Park:
Words cannot capture the vastness of the Serengeti. Its natural abundance of wildlife provides incredible game viewing. On the open, grassy savannah, antelope species include eland, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, topi and hartebeest. In the denser bush and acacia of the central Serengeti, leopard sightings are among the best in Africa, cheetah and lion are abundant. In the rivers, hippo and crocodile are plentiful.
After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gauge (Oldupai Gorge -originally misnamed Olduvai- is the most famous archaeological location in East Africa, and has become an essential visit for travelers to Ngorongoro or Serengeti. Then after you will head to Naabi gate where Drive will pay your park fees and stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) after lunch proceed in Serengeti park game drive on route until late evening.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park Full Day:
The entire day is dedicated to game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas that you visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include lions, leopards (in the acacia trees) and cheetahs. During the short rainy season in November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June they return up north. As the migration is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls, the location of the herds may vary from year to year but your guide will know where to locate the animals and where to see them best. You will spend another night at last night’s hotel.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area:
Early morning game drive at Serengeti. After breakfast will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and go for an afternoon a Nature Walk (depending on weather conditions). Escorted by a ranger or Maasai Guide you follow animal paths through dense. North-East of the Ngorongoro Crater lies the Empakaai Crater, Empakaai is about 6000m wide and 300m high. Among other animals, you will see buffalo, bushbuck, a variety of antelope and blue monkeys. Birds are in abundance. A deep soda lake covers a large part of the crater floor. There is a track to the crater-floor and one around the rim of the crater. On a nice, clear day, one can see Mt. Oldonyo Lengai, Lake Natron and Mt. Kilimanjaro. The scenery is left to your imagination!! You will walk around the crater take some picture of the beauty crater with stunning views. There after you will ascend to the top where you will meet your driver and drive to the your accommodation from where you can witness the sun set over the crater
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Full :
Often called the eighth wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania boasts a blend of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeology that is unsurpassed in Africa.
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro crater, descend the crater 2000ft deep for classic wildlife encounter, Breathtaking views of the crater and abundance wildlife viewing. Predators such as cheetah, lions, leopard, hyena and many other animals to be seen. Picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. Later evening drive to your accommodation where you will spend the night for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Return to Arusha then Drive Back to Airport:
After breakfast return to Arusha, visiting office for debriefing, relax on the office garden waiting for right time to drive and drop-off at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
