Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport and drive to Arusha: Distance: 57Km | Travel Time: 1 hour.

Your journey begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a warm welcome awaits you. From here, you’ll be transferred to your comfortable lodge in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s national parks. Take some time to relax and prepare for the adventures ahead. If time permits, enjoy a leisurely walk around the lush gardens of your lodge or explore the vibrant markets of Arusha, where you can find local crafts and fresh produce.

Day 1: Arusha - Tarangire National Park – The Land of Giants

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem renowned for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The park’s diverse landscapes, from open savannahs to riverbanks, provide an excellent setting for spotting wildlife such as lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and warthogs.

Enjoy a full-day game drive, stopping at picturesque viewpoints to observe animals gathering around the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline.
