Arusha National Park Day Trip

07:30 AM Depart from your accommodation in Arusha and drive to Arusha National Park (approx. 30minites). Begin your game drive, exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems, from open savannahs to dense forests. Spot wildlife like giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and colobus monkeys, and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro on clear days. Then after Embark on a walking safari with an armed ranger. Explore the park on foot, following trails through lush vegetation and spotting wildlife at close range. Walk to the Ngurdoto Crater or visit Tululusia Waterfall, where you’ll learn about the flora and fauna of the region. Then enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot, such as near the Momella Lakes or overlooking the crater.

Option: Choose the optional canoeing activity on the tranquil Momella Lakes (depending on water levels). Glide across the water in a canoe, enjoying close-up views of waterbirds like flamingos, pelicans, and herons, and possibly spotting animals like giraffes and buffaloes along the shoreline. Alternatively, continue with an extended game drive to explore more of the park’s hidden gems.

03:30 PM: Depart the park and begin your return journey to Arusha. Arrive back in Arusha, marking the end of your day trip.
