Tarangire National Park Day Trip Safari

Morning Depart from Arusha from your accommodation and head toward Tarangire National Park approx. 2-2.5 hours’ drive. Enjoy the scenic drive through Tanzania’s countryside. After arrivig at the Tarangire National Park Gate for check-in. Your guide will brief you on the day’s plan as you prepare for your game drive. Begin your morning game drive, exploring the park’s iconic landscapes of open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and towering baobab trees. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, as well as the park’s unique birdlife. Break for a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated picnic spots, often with stunning views and the sounds of nature all around. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive. This is an excellent time to spot more wildlife, as many animals come to the Tarangire River to drink. The river is a lifeline for the park and attracts predators and prey alike. Your guide will help you uncover the park’s hidden gems and share fascinating facts about the ecosystem. Exit the park and begin the drive back to Arusha. Arrive back in Arusha to your accommodation, marking the end of your unforgettable day trip or drive to airport.
